Pricing

Free for your golf. Plans for your group. A build for your society.

Golfers pay nothing to download ParClub or to play their own golf with it. A group starts free, then moves to Pro or Masters. A society with its own rules pays £950 for the build, then £150 a year.

No adverts. No charge per member. Members of a group or a society never pay.

What £950 builds

  • Every competition and table you run, scored to your rules: penalty shots, divisions, weight for age, best-of tables
  • Checked against your own results before you pay the balance
  • The secretary's portal: start sheets with tee times, handicap labels to print, and any card entered hole by hole or as a total. Nothing counts until you publish
  • Emails to the whole society, or just the people playing in one meeting
  • Your members and handicaps brought across from Excel, Numbers, CSV or Airtable
  • Your society's colours, with anything you don't run switched off
  • The ParClub app for every member, free on iPhone and Android, for those who want it

When a society needs a build, not Pro or Masters

Pro and Masters run a group inside the app. A build is for a society that does things its own way.

Rules of its own

Penalty shots for winners, divisions split on the day, best-of tables, a second table, weight for age.

A secretary's portal

Start sheets with tee times, handicap labels to print, emails to the field, and nothing counts until it's published.

Members who won't use the app

The secretary enters their cards in the portal, hole by hole or just the totals, and they're scored with everyone else.

When a society pays

Nothing until you've seen it work.

You see one of your own fixtures running before you pay a penny, and the balance waits until the build has run a real competition of yours.

See it first

£0

Within a few days of the first call, we set up one of your real fixtures so you and the committee can click around it.

Start the build

£285

Non-refundable, because the setup work starts straight away. We build your competitions, tables and handicap rules and bring your members across, usually within a week.

Sign it off

£665

Due once the build has run a real competition of yours and you've signed it off. Not before.

Run it

£150 a year

From the day your build goes live, and fixed for life: it won't go up for as long as your society stays with us.

What the £150 a year covers

Hosting

Your portal and your society's records, kept running on servers in the EU, in Paris.

The licence

One licence for the whole society. No charge per member, however many you have.

Support

When a question comes up, you're talking to the people who built your scoring, not a call centre.

Every payment is by bank transfer, against an invoice, and no VAT is added. Members never pay anything. Read the build terms

Refer another society. When they go ahead with a build, your next year is free.

Questions

Pricing, plainly.

Anything else, email greg@parclub.app and we'll answer it.

A golfer holding his follow-through on a tree-lined tee.
Is the app really free?

Yes. It's free to download and free for your own golf: scoring your rounds, GPS yardage and your estimated handicap cost nothing, and there are no adverts.

Groups are free to start, with up to 10 members and 3 rounds over 40 days, then move to Pro or Masters, paid by whoever runs the group. Members of a society with a build never pay.

Pro or Masters?

Pro suits a group of up to 20: a regular fourball, a roll-up or mates on tour. It gives you unlimited rounds, Captain's Corner, a public group page and one eclectic, for £4.99 a month or £34.99 a year.

Masters is for up to 200, and adds unlimited eclectics, side games and the money ledger, for £7.99 a month or £64.99 a year. Masters monthly starts with a 7-day free trial in the App Store.

When do we need a build instead?

When your society has rules of its own: penalty shots, divisions, best-of tables, a second table, weight for age. Or when the secretary wants a portal for start sheets, labels and emails, or some members won't use the app and need their cards entered for them.

Pro and Masters run a group in the app. A build runs your society your way. How a build works.

Do our members pay anything?

No. In a group, whoever runs it pays for Pro or Masters. With a build, the society pays for the build and the £150 a year. Members use the ParClub app free on iPhone and Android, and the ones who'd rather not bother don't need it at all: the secretary can enter their cards in the portal.

What if our society has 40 members, or 400?

A build costs the same. £950 to build and £150 a year, with no charge per member, and it doesn't go up as the society grows.

What does the £150 a year cover?

Hosting, the licence and support from us. It starts the day your build goes live, and it's fixed for life: it won't go up for as long as your society stays with us.

Is the £285 refundable?

No. It covers the setup work, which starts straight away. The £665 balance isn't due until the build has run a real competition of yours and you've signed it off.

Is VAT added?

No. No VAT is added to our prices, so £950 is £950 and £150 is £150.

Do you have a referral offer?

Yes. Refer another society to us, and when they go ahead with a build, your next year is free.

What happens if we stop paying?

It's set out in our build terms, so read them before you commit and nothing rests on a conversation.

Your data is never held hostage: members can download their own data and delete their account in the app, and we'll export the society's full records on request.

Can we see it before we pay?

Yes. Before you pay anything, we set up one of your real fixtures so you and the committee can click around it. The balance isn't due until the build has run a real competition of yours and you've signed it off.

You can also look round the example portal now. Nothing you click is saved.

How do we pay?

A group pays in the app, through the App Store on iPhone. On Android, ask us and we'll invoice you.

A society pays by bank transfer against an invoice: £285 to start, £665 once the build has run a real competition of yours and you've signed it off, then £150 a year from go-live.

Tell us how your society scores it.

Send us your rules. If we can build them, you'll see one of your own fixtures set up before you pay anything.
