A society with some history doesn't work like that. Its rules grew up over decades, one committee meeting at a time. A trophy with its own handicap allowance. A shot taken off last year's winner. Your three best finishing positions, added up, lowest wins. Meetings that don't count, don't. One win in April won't top the table on its own.
Two divisions, split on the day.
No fixed line. Whoever turns up, the field splits down the middle by handicap, and each half gets its own winner and runner-up.
Half a shot a year over 65.
Weight for age at the meetings that use it, worked out from each member's date of birth. At 66 you get half a shot. At 70, two and a half.
One strict medal.
Stableford off 95% all season, except one strict medal off full handicap, where the penalties still count.
Morning on one course, afternoon on the other.
A 36-hole day across two courses, the afternoon set up off that course's own slope and rating, so every handicap is right for the course it is played on.
Only the best rounds count.
Set how many rounds count, say the best two of four, so a player who misses a round isn't out of it.

Stored in Paris. Members can download their own data or delete their account from the app, and we export the society's records whenever you ask.

Their names, handicaps and results belong to them, so we don't put them on a website. Every screen on this page comes from the example portal: a working copy of the secretary portal, filled with an invented society.
Your members' details get the same treatment: held in the EU, used to run your competitions and nothing else, and never shown to anyone you haven't chosen.

We have a very complicated system. Can you really do it?
Probably, and we'll know after one conversation. The software already handles two season-long tables, penalties that last into the next season, a second table that hands them back, divisions, weight for age and 36-hole days on two courses. If yours needs something we can't do properly, we'll say so on the first call.
Do all our members need the app?
No. You can run everything from the portal in a browser, and members without the app still appear on the start sheet, in the results and in the tables. Those who want the app get it free.
Can we try it first?
Yes. Before you pay anything, we set up one of your real fixtures, usually within a few days of the first call, so you and the committee can click around it. The balance isn't due until the build has run a real competition of yours and you've signed it off.
